Belated Merry Christmas - Meaning

What a busy time of the year it is... Which has left me with not a lot of time to blog...

But it doesn't mean that I didn't think about it... What played on my mind was with all the mad shoppers out spending up big on the "right gift" people getting so angry at us at work for not working fast enough or having to wait in line (I work in retail)

So many of us had lost the meaning of Christmas... Now if you don't believe in Christ that is fine but then your meaning would be what? Spending time with family? Helping others less fortunate than yourself?

What does this time of year mean? What it means to me... And something I will carry with me all year round.

Helping bake food for a friend who needed it..

Listening to a friend in need of a should to lean on...

Receiving blessings from a person who I have never met to make ends meet...

Spending time with family..

I don't go to church but it doesn't mean that I don't pray.

I have prayer a lot in the last week

For family of good friends that lost their Dad/Husband/Grandfather on Christmas eve..

For a family hoping that for their Dad/Husband to live though christmas..

For a little man who is only 8 months old reciving a bone marrow transplant over christams..

For a wonderful lady becoming a family and soon will be home with her girls..

These things have been close to my heart over this hoilday season and I know that life will keep going on and sad things will happen as well as the good things..

But I have decided that in my house and in my life I am going to work hard to pay it forward to help those that need it...

Because I believe that this is what this time of year is about......
