Training *DONE*
I am excited to say that another step is done!
It really has been a life changing time for me! It has challenged ideas that I had!
Changed that way I look at the world~ I would say my eyes have been opened...
I had a hard look at myself and my bio kids! I am changing the way I am as a parent!
The foster care training is in no way sugarcoated! They give it to you straight!
I do think that it hit Al hard! I have done a lot of reading and asked a ton of questions so I did have some ideas going in to it!
I know were to will set my limits! Ones to protect our family, my marriage hey and my sanity!
We started with 6 in our group on DAY 1 -
DAY 3 there was only 3 of us left!
What we have left now
Is 16 hours of interviews!
Final Reports to be signed
We go in front of a panel to have FINAL APPROVAL (well we don't but all out paper work does)
since we started it has taken us 6 months to get this far!

Congratulations! I can't wait to see when you are finally approved! You guys are doing a great job.
Good for you...we did foster training in Vermont...we left halfway through because of the 'threats' from bio parents due to the fact we lived in a small town...we didnt want the risks.
You are going to be GREAT at this!
