School hoildays, six kids and no Pepsi!

Wow! My head is spinning!

The twins are on school holidays so that means friends over to visit! So today I took my 4 plus 2 extras to the Play house! it was crazy! And the looks I got walking in with 6 kids!!! My friends out there that have 6 or more kids you are my heros!!! And I would love to know what kind of looks you get~

I am need of a Pepsi and theirs none in the house !!

Things are settling down! And we are working on getting into some sort of routine which has been fun!

The kids have been getting better each day and we seem to have got over the tandem crying!!! Now if I can get them to make there beds hehehehe!

Lil Miss is fun and cute and sweet and OMGoodness is she ever hard to feed!! She swipes her hands at every spoon you try and give her! But doesn't have it worked out yet to do it her self! Finger foods work best but are also thrown EVERYWHERE!!! My dog is thinking its Christmas's and I am sure is going to put on a a few kilos!!

She is still waking for a bottle at 12pm and 4-5am.......

We heard that they have court for her on the 15th of this month and there is family that want to take her! But there are some issues there and it will be the departments decision what happens there!

So we will see! Not that they have told me in so many words but I feel she wont be here for long........ When they first told me she was coming they said 3 weeks! Now I think it may be less!! Either way we will love her and when her day comes to leave we will miss her!! She does have a special place in our hearts alreay!

Chelley,

Can you explain how the process works in Australia a little bit? In the US, there is usually at least a year in foster care before they pursue TPR (termination of parental rights).

Love her while you can, Sister!
Your are doing great! I am afraid if I were in your shoes I would have to have something a little stronger than a Pepsi! :)

I have to give 14 month old Angel something interesting to play with if I want to feed him (less messy) as a distraction. Little plastic car works quite well. If I let him feed himself I give him one spoon, but hold another so I can keep the food moving too, and it seems to keep him on task. I guess if Lil Miss moves onto a family member, you'll soon have another little fosterling in your home. Seems to work that way in my household...never more than a few weeks between placements.

Thats funny about the feeding of little miss. That is pretty much how it is with my Hannah. I wish they made plastic caps to put over their hair because she's always swiping her messy hands all over her hair.

I reckon it feels more full-on, when you only have 2 or 3 kids, and you are just looking after extras for the day!!! When you live with 5+ kids - it seems normal... apparently!!! I have 2 close friends with 5 kids!

You are wonder woman!
