I feel so used
So darn frustrated! Waaahaaaaa
ok that feels a little better. One of my pet hates is when you do something and then someone will do it all over again because they didn't like the way YOU did it!
Now I am open to help and when people offer it I can say that I will take it on board and work with it.
But to just take the whole project off you and redo it?!? It just makes me BOIL!!!
I have been working as a volunteer (am president in a group) for around 3 years. After much thought I have decided to step away as its time to let someone else step up.
When I let them know that I would not run again it was said to me "well you really haven't been into it for the last 12 months" ?!?!?!
Now I feel that was a very harsh thing to say. I don't think that I have let anything go or haven't been "into it" I think I have done the best job I can do!
I feel so used, this is time away from my family and things I needed to do.. For what now feels like nothing..

Geez. That is harsh. Well, all I can say, is it's their loss. Now you'll have even more time to spend with your family!

That would definitely rub me the wrong way too!
And I have to laugh because I've never heard it called "pet hate"....we call it "pet peeve". Too funny.
