An act of kindness

I still have no answers but I do have hope...

Hope

that there are still people in this world that care! From friends via emails and notes to people that don't even know me!

Last week I went to a garage sale looking for baby items that I needed for "Foster". On a VERY strict budget I was making sure not to get silly! I went to one and some how while looking at items I started talking to the owner of the garage sale about "Foster"!

I bought one item a little bouncer!

Then today I got a phone call from the lovely lady from the garage sale. Saying she really wanted to help out! She had gone though all of her items and sorted out things she no longer needed!
And brought it over to my house today!

I fell of my rocking chair! The amount of items of clothes she brought!!!

Sizes from newborn to size 2! Boys and girls clothes! The photo really doesnt give you a true idea of how much clothes are there! But I have now size sorted it into one HUGE FULLY PACKED suitcase!

This is such a blessing for me! I had passed on most of my kids clothes and really only had clothes from size 2!!!!

This lovely lady was so sweet about giving these items to help me out! She has even said that in a month or so she would have a high chair for me! (which is pretty much the only thing left I need)

Chelley, what a great start to your fostering collection. I hope you've got somewhere to store them. I have eight very large plastic crates of babie's and kid's clothes which I store under a high built-in double bed in my daughter's room...and all the cots and highchairs and other equipment is scattered all about the house. Great to have it all on hand when you need it. Look forward to hearing about your first placement.

What a beautiful act of kindness! As a foster mom myself, I'm amazed at how many acts of kindness that have been directed to us just because we are foster parents. We are ever so grateful each time others show us kindness. I'm so glad you got these clothes! I can't wait to hear about your first placement!

So, since you left a comment on my “Launching My New Home Based Business” post so I hope you don’t mind me high jacking your comments to let you know that I’ve published a post listing many of my handmade products for sale through my new home-based business, Sparkle & Charm Boutique.
