Around and around we go!

The kids as in all of them most of the time get along pretty good! That isn't to say they there isn't fights over toys or dobbing on what one child is doing to another child!

Arliah and Button have a love hate friendship!! LOL almost like the twins Kagen and Tiarna had at the same age!!! If one has something the other one wants it! If one has their hair one way the other wants it JUST THE SAME!!

Kagen is REALLY over all the GIRLS!! I had laid out every ones clothes for the next day and without even thinking about it I had all the girls dressed in PINK well Kagen comes out and says to me.... "Mum see this is what I am talking about the house is PINK EVERYWHERE"
When I set the table for dinner tonight I made sure that every plate and fork was blue or black.... Then asked Kagen if he noticed!! He looked at the table and then looked at me and said "Oh no Mum didn't see that" Hehehe he is such a male!!!

I get asked a lot if this is what I thought it would be like!! Yes most of it is! There are some parts that I am finding hard! Visitations have been hard and some things I didn't think about for example the feedback from family from the visitations
like been told that I haven't dressed the girls in the RIGHT clothes! Or see the kids are sick how well must we be looking after them???

Also when the come back from visitations they are COVERED in food or markers and the food isn't from the healthy FOOD groups! That side of it is harder for me.... One time the came home SO caked in food that I had to bath them as soon as they came in the door!

So when they ask the girls to wear the ONE SET of clothes that they have given them to visitations and let them get covered in FOOD that I have to soak to try and get the stains out are they going to think bad of me because the clothes are still stained??????????

It looks like the girls will be to at least November! Unless an Aboriginal carer becomes available!

That is funny about kagen being surrounded by PINK!!
How can they cut down the way you are taking care of the kids. I don't know much, but if they were doing such a great job I don't think thier kids would be in Foster care. You keep on doing what your doing, Youre doing a great job!

Do not take what the other family says personally. They are trying to justify themselves and the fact that their children are in foster care.
You are doing a great job. They know it. They just won't let you know it.

It's going to be ok. I am really proud of you, it takes a lot of courage and love to do what you are doing.

Those children are blessed to have you.

I've just had a chance to catch up Chel - you are amazing and you are awesome. I can't even begin to understand how hard and yet how rewarding this time is for you. I wish I lived close by so I could help you .... and get to know you better - you sound just like my sort of person. May God bless and strengthen you...and the children. Don't let ANYONE get you down - you're doing an amazing job.
